STUDENT LIFE

AFTER SCHOOL/ENRICHMENT

Saint Mark’s School offers students not only a nurturing learning environment, but also a fine extra curricular and enrichment program after school. The activities complement the well regarded and highly acclaimed and rigorous academic studies.

Elementary enrichment classes are offered during after school hours, for an additional fee. These include chess, gymnastics, dance, Mathemagic, Tae Kwan Do, Animal Invasion, and cooking classes. Study Hall for Grades 1 through 6 in the library is also offered.

The elementary day care program allows students to participate in sports, play on the playground equipment, complete arts and crafts, read, play games or just relax with friends, all under the supervision of the Day Care Director and Supervisor. Elementary day care is offered from 7 a.m. until school begins and from school dismissal until 6 p.m.

The afternoon preschool program begins when the preschool ends at noon, and parents can choose a variety of options to meet their day care needs. In the afternoon, the preschool program offers a less structured environment than in the morning program, with plenty of time for free play, art, crafts, and exploration of the preschool playgrounds.
