Friends of the Library is kicking off Spring 2022 with our Books in Bloom Book Fair starting Tuesday, March 29-Friday, April 1 in Community Hall.

Come and support our young readers while getting a jump start on summer reading options. You’ll also be able to support our teachers and school library by shopping from the teacher and library wishlists!

Students will preview the Book Fair on Tuesday with their class and make a wishlist that they can then bring home and share. There will also be an opportunity for students to shop during school hours if parents would like to send their child to school with book fair money!

Our Student Leadership Council (SLC) will be collaborating with a book drive for Door of Hope. Door Of Hope’s mission is to empower families facing homelessness to transform their lives through their holistic programs. The SLC will have a dedicated section for Door of Hope’s wishlist from which our families can shop. At the end of the Book Fair, all dedicated purchases will be donated to the organization.

For those who will not be able to attend or for any grandparents or special friends that would like to support their students and Saint Mark’s, we will be offering the Scholastic online book fair in conjunction with our in-person event. The online book fair starts March 28th- April 1.
