Saint Mark’s School was founded as a result of their commitment. The charge given the School by the leadership of St. Mark’s Church was that the school was to reflect the diversity of the surrounding neighborhood and to operate independently without cost to the parish.

Today, Saint Mark’s serves up to 350 preschool through sixth-grade students. The school is situated on a five-and-a-half-acre campus in a residential sector of Altadena, an unincorporated city within the County of Los Angeles.
